Payment Policy

1. Overview

This payment policy explains the payment methods, security measures, and settlement process used on the official beepio online store (beepio.kr).
All transactions are processed in Korean Won (KRW) and are operated in accordance with the Korean Electronic Commerce Act and related financial regulations.

2. Payment Gateway Partner

Our store uses PortOne as the official payment service bridge, which securely connects Shopify to the KG Inicis payment gateway system.
Through this integration, customers can safely complete payments using various domestic and international methods supported in Korea.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

You can pay for your order using any of the following options:

  • Major Korean credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, BC, Shinhan, Hyundai, etc.)

  • Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, and Toss Pay

  • Bank transfer and virtual account (if supported by KG Inicis)

  • International credit cards (Visa / Master / JCB) for overseas customers

All transactions are processed through KG Inicis’ secure encryption protocol (SSL 256-bit) via the PortOne payment bridge.

4. Payment Security

beepio does not store any credit card or financial information.
All payment data is encrypted and transmitted directly to PortOne and KG Inicis for authorization.
Our payment system complies with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and the Korean Electronic Financial Transaction Act.

5. Order Confirmation

Once your payment is successfully authorized:

  1. You will receive an automatic order confirmation email.

  2. Orders are processed within 1 business day after payment approval.

  3. If the payment fails or is canceled, the order will be automatically voided, and no charge will be made.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds for paid orders follow our [Return & Exchange Policy].
If a refund is approved, the payment will be reversed through the same method originally used.
Please note that:

  • Credit card refunds may take 3–7 business days, depending on the issuing bank.

  • Wallet services (Kakao Pay / Naver Pay / Toss Pay) follow each platform’s refund procedure.

7. Taxes and Fees

All prices displayed include applicable Korean VAT (10%).
No additional payment gateway fees are charged to customers.
